SENTRON stationary gas engine oils are high performance, long-life oils used for stationary gas engines and compressors in a wide variety of applications with a key focus on gas compression and power generation.

SENTRON™ SP 30
Premium Stationary Gas Engine Oils with 0.6%-1.0% weight ash.
SENTRON SP 30 is an extreme performance specialty stationary gas engine oil formulated with the latest additive technology in Petro-Canada Lubricants’ ultra-pure, very high viscosity index base oil. It offers superior thermal and oxidation/nitration stability, resulting in extended oil life, reduced acid formation and outstanding resistance against deposit and sludge formation. SENTRON SP 30 helps keep the engine clean and prevent wear of critical components such as piston rings and liners which results in extended component lifetime and increased engine durability. SENTRON SP 30 has demonstrated improved fuel efficiency compared to conventional stationary gas engine oils.

Applications
SENTRON SP 30 is a mid ash (0.70 wt%) SAE 30 monograde stationary gas engine oil. It is suitable for use in high Brake Mean Effective Pressure (BMEP) 4-stroke engines operating under high loads and high and low temperature conditions. SAE 30 stationary gas engine oil demand is increasing for emergency power generation and flexible peak power generation applications where they can help for a quick start. SENTRON SP 30’s Sulfated Ash content of 0.70 wt% means that this product fits within the medium ash specifications.
